Manipuri Raas Festival Tour

Pick up from the hotel at 7 am, and start driving directly to Srimangal (186 km, 06 hrs) Upon arrival there, check into hotel/resort, get freshen up and take lunch. After lunch, till evening we will spend time in the Manipuri village and see their lifestyle. We also will spend some time to see their handicraft shop near their house as Manipuri tribe is famous for handicraft. We will be back to the hotel/resort before sunset. After dinner, to have a taste of the famous 07 layer tea of Srimangal which is one of the must-do activities in Srimangal, we’ll take you to Nilkontho Tea cabin. Overnight at Srimangal.

Morning is free to get recharged for the reason of having a long day and the full night’s activity ahead. After having a late breakfast, you will be transferred to the festival ground roughly at 10 am for photographing the fare ground and enjoy the Rakhal dance until 5 pm. You will come back to the hotel, get freshen, early dinner and some rest and get prepared for the whole night program at the festival. Arrival at the festival ground, enjoy the music performance and the Raas Lila, the stories before Krishna’s journey towards Mathura. The stories describe how he first met Radha and her friends, how lovely were their conversations, how romantic their talks used to be. Overnight stay at the festival ground or you may come back to the hotel later part of the night. 

Wake up very late in the morning until mid-day. Check-out and after lunch drive back to Dhaka in the afternoon. Depending on your interest we can prolong this tour and take the other tours that we offer at Srimangal. It is also possible to drive you to Sylhet from here and do the Jaflong and Lalakhal Tour after enjoying this unique Rash festival.  Drop at the hotel at Dhaka and end of the tour with a unique experience of Bangladeshi festival.
