The main attraction of this tour is a variety of historical monuments, including plentiful mosques, Hindu temples, uppermost Buddhist Stupa in the south of Himalaya and buildings built during the British Colony. Day 01: Travel to Puthia & Rajshai and full day activities

Day 01: Our driver and guide will come to pick you early in the morning for the North region of Bangladesh, Rajshahi. The duration of the journey to Rajshahi will be 6 hours approximately. On the way to Rajshai you will enjoy the true landscape of our evergreen rural area. You will have an opportunity to have your lunch on the highway just after Jamuna Bridge. After lunch, you will be reaching Puthia, an attractive town well-known for the huge number of archaeologically significant Hindu structures in Bangladesh. The Shiva Temple, in Puthia, is the largest Hindu temple in Bangladesh. Decorated with intricate terracotta design,  Govinda Temple,  is in one of the country’s premium old Rajbari’s courtyard.

 We will continue driving toward  Rajshahi, a town is famous for University on the bank of  Padma River. Before we proceed to a short boat trip to enjoy the sunset over the Padma (Ganges) river if time permits a short visit to a local silk factory to experience weaving, dying, block and batik painting of this exclusive natural fiber will be overwhelming because Rajshahi is also known as the ‘silk capital’ of Bangladesh .  Dinner at a local restaurant & overnight in Rajshahi.  If not allowed by the time the silk factory tour today tomorrow you will visit the silk factory. 

 

Day 02: Activity in the morning & fall back Dhaka

In the early morning over the winter season It’s worth visiting a local vegetable market,  spice market, fish and piled up colorful vegetable market place, salesmen are shouting with rhythm while auctioning which cannot prevent you from clicking the photo one after another to get the perfect shot... Just after having this experience visiting the morning vegetable market there are many interesting attractions waiting to offer you, including the country’s finest museum, the Varendra Research Museum, organized and maintained by the Rajshahi University. A splendid collection of local Hindu sculpture, In the predominantly British-style building with some interesting Hindu-Buddhist features, relics from all over the subcontinent are on display, Museum visit after breakfast and leave Rajshahi for Dhaka, on the way back you will visit the famous Natore Raj Bari (Land lord’s palace) and continue to drive towards home.

It is worth experiencing the rigors of the journey to visit the Kushumba Mosque, a highly decorative and rare stone monument of the early 16th century.
