Baikka Beel, in Hail Haor, a wetland sanctuary, is to shelter and restore marine biodiversity predominantly fish and birds. Another objective of this wetland sanctuary is, through the visitor facilities to enhance enjoyment of the site and understanding of nature, the worth of wetlands and necessity for their conservation for the future. The sanctuary and its facilities have already set an exemple that can encourage reproduction of similar sanctuaries somewhere else in the country. Baikka Beel is a 100 ha wetland sanctuary located in Hail Haor which extend enormously in the monsoon.
